St Mary's Cathedral Edinburgh, was the venue for the Celebration of Mass for the Edinburgh Festival.

Cardinal O'Brien was the main Concelebrant along with Monsignor David Gemmell and two visiting Priests from France.

The Cardinal welcomed Provost George Grubb and his wife Elizabeth along with other Members of the Council and the High Constables of Edinburgh.
