Over a thousand mourners
gathered in and around St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh
for the Funeral Mass of the Right Reverend Monsignor
David Robert Gemmell MTh.
H.E. Keith Patrick Cardinal O'Brien
was the Principal Celebrant at the Mass for his "best
friend in the priesthood", on the 17th March, St
Patrick's day and the Cardinal's 70th Birthday.
Over 100 priests including Bishops Joseph
Devine, Vincent Logan and Bishop Emeritus John Mone concelebrated
the Funeral Mass for their friend and colleague. |
